Erevena has made a bold start to 2019, following on from a strong year in 2018. This is reflected in the growing number of placements made, in an expanding number of diverse oranisations. These organisations share one thing in common – they are amongst the fastest growing in the world.
We are seeing the greater importance being placed on the product function within growing organisations being reflected in the number of searches we are being engaged on. Clients we have worked with recently include exisiting investor clients such as Insight Venture Partners, Balderton Capital and Atomico and as well as newly funded organisations such as Talentry and Pusher.
The shortage of product talent in Europe means we maximise the spread of the Erevena network with searches reaching across Europe and the USA, and clients increasingly investing in relocating candidates from overseas.

Vinay Ramani joins Pipedrive as Chief Product Officer
After an extensive search Vinay Ramani, formerly Group Product Manager at Google and Head of International Growth at Uber was placed at Pipedrive as CPO, to augment the founding team.
Vinay has an established track record of rapidly scaling international teams from his time at Uber where he led International Growth into new territories and helped shape Uber’s sale of their Chinese business to Didi Chuxing for $7B. More recently he was Head of Product, Search Growth at Google in Mountain View. Vinay has relocated to London.
Pipedrive is the market-leading provider of CRM solutions to the SMB space, backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Atomico and Insight Venture Partners. With over 80,000 customers globally the business announced its Series C raise of $60m (bringing total funding to over $90m) in 2018 to continue to drive its impressive triple-digit growth.

Talentry extends its executive management team with Romuald Restout as VP of Product
Romuald’s remit includes the development, positioning and marketing of Talentry’s recruitment marketing software. Working closely with founders, Carl Hoffmann and Michael Blazek he is tasked with translating Talentry’s vision, customer needs and market trends into compelling product decisions.
Romuald brings 20 years of experience in international development, positioning and marketing of HR software. Most recently, as Director of Product at Beamery, a UK-based provider of Candidate Relationship Management solutions, where he was responsible for the product roadmap and product management. He previously held roles at Topia, Lumesse and Taleo.
Talentry, backed by Nauta Capital, is one of the leading providers of cloud-based Candidate Relationship Management software, and helps companies find the right talent faster and develop stronger relationships with candidates.
Jakub Lamik joins Redgate Software as Chief Product Officer
Redgate Software was looking to significantly drive revenue growth through the evolution of its Product portfolio and commissioned Erevena to search for a Commercial, VP Products. Erevena produced a diverse shortlist with a particularly exciting executive in Jakub Lamik.
Jakub spent the previous 10 years with ARM Plc where he held roles in Software Engineering and Product Marketing before moving into Product Management as Vice President, where his portfolio was responsible for over $1B in licencing and Royalty revenue.
Redgate software is a UK headquartered, leading provider of software for professionals working on the Microsoft data platform. It helps over 800,000 people in every type of organization around the world, from small and medium sized businesses to 91% of companies in the Fortune 100.
Mike Pilawski joins Typeform as COO with responsibility for Product Strategy
Erevena were initially asked by Typeform to find a West Coast-based Chief Product Officer. We quickly delivered a shortlist of candidates and the business showed great responsiveness to meet with candidates. The decision was made to hire Mike Pilawski who at the time was in the Valley and to elevate his responsibilities to Chief Operating Officer with additional responsibility for Product Strategy.
Mike began his career at Nokia, where he led the development of new products through partnerships and acquisitions. He then spent a number of years building products and teams at rapidly scaling companies in the ad:tech and SaaS arenas.
Typeform is a Barcelona-based SaaS company with one simple vision: to make forms as we know them extinct. The business has been experiencing double-digit growth and has attracted Tier 1 investment from the likes of Index Ventures, General Atlantic and Point Nine with the most recent Series B round raising $35m at the end of the summer, 2017.
