As Coursera moved more heavily into the enterprise sector it became clear that there was a need for senior leadership to enter the EMEA business. Erevena was retained to find a GM to replace Stephanie Durand who was relocating back to the US. This was with the ultimate aim of accelerating the growth of the business in EMEA, building a best-in-class commercial team and providing multi-functional leadership in the region as the company expanded rapidly.

Requirements

The successful candidate needed to have mastered the complexities of commercial growth, particularly selling into the HR and Learning functions. There was a need to find someone who had held regional and executive positions previously and someone who could act as a mentor to the fast-growing team as this would be the most senior leader in the region.

Result

Erevena successfully introduced Anthony Tattersall, a former Chief Sales Officer and multiple-time regional leader with an exceptional reputation and track record of scaling sales organisations across EMEA and having sold into the HR function for over a decade.
