Looking to propagate their success and exponential growth over the last 12 months, Productsup are continuing hiring the best in class across all functions and furthering their global expansion. They are experiencing a cultural shift, from start-up to an established global leader in the P2C space. In order to leverage this evolution, the company opted to bring in an experienced People leader with experience of the challenges faced in hyper-scaling environments. Erevena has a long-standing relationship with Productsup, having helped advise on other senior executive hires in the past.
Requirements
The Chief People and Culture Officer role was created primarily to help upskill the people organisation in preparation for the next phase of growth. They will be able to both challenge the Executive Committee and simultaneously create a sense of alignment, while increasing their reputation as a brilliant place to work. Productsup’s growth has been both organic and inorganic, so M&A experience and an appreciation of cultural integration is necessary. The ideal candidate will have been part of a high performing global SaaS business which has seen growth from $20 million to $100 million ARR and from 300 to 1000 FTEs.

Ultimately, Sharon Scortis was the successful candidate. Formerly Global VP People at Adthena, Sharon has 20+ years’ experience leading international People teams in the software industry. She has worked in businesses such as JDA Software, Epicor Software, and Blue Prism in addition to DataStax and CloudShift through her own consultancy work. With a deep appreciation for the challenges of hyper-scaling, Sharon immediately understood the opportunities in front of Productsup and felt like a natural fit for the leadership team. With Sharon’s scaling experience, she will bring best practices to the business and strengthen their position from the inside out. Having now placed multiple C-suite positions within the business, Erevena is excited to watch the company thrive.
