Search Background
Leapwork has 400 FTEs globally, and has local offices across Europe, the US, and Asia. Following their Series B in 2021, Leapwork have been investing heavily in its international expansion, and in evolving and enhancing the quality of its processes and team to maximize the company’s potential. Critical to this evolution is the role of the Chief People Officer.
Requirements
Reporting to the CEO, Leapwork was seeking a Chief People Officer who could play an active role in the repositioning the people function at the strategic heart of the business, and as a true enabler of Leapwork’s growth strategy.
The search was focused on seeking a modern thinker and strategic operator with some close situational proximity to Leapwork in terms of the international growth journey, and increasing organisational complexity. Critically, the Chief People Officer needed to understand and embrace Nordic culture which is so fundamental to the company’s success, but approach their role with a global mindset.
Result
Erevena executed an extensive search across Europe, but with a primary focus on the Nordics and the UK, culminating in securing Eva Lessing, formerly Head of People Development at Sinch. Having spent over two years prior as Sinch’s Chief People Officer and four years as Snow Software’s VP Human Resources, Eva has led the people agenda in two highly successful B2B scaleups, and has a proven track record of what it takes to build and harness world class teams in ever changing, rapid growth investor backed environments.
