Figma is a high growth organisation and as a result is constantly expanding its customer base and offerings. To ensure its continued success, the company needed a Director of Account Management EMEA. This individual would be tasked with leading an EMEA based team to maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers. The Director of Account Management EMEA is required to oversee the company’s customer success and account management teams, ensuring that customers receive the support they need to fully utilize the platform. Additionally, as Figma expands its product offerings with new tools and features, the Director of Account Management EMEA needed to be instrumental in driving adoption of these new offerings among existing customers.
Requirements
Figma needed an individual to be responsible for leading the company’s account management function in EMEA. The ideal candidate needed experience managing large teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments and a deep understanding of SaaS business models. Key requirements for the role included a proven track record of driving customer engagement and retention, as well as the ability to develop and execute effective customer success strategies. It was imperative that this person was a skilled communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate needed to have experience driving adoption of new products and features among existing customers and a strong understanding of customer needs and pain points in the design and collaboration space. They were required to build a diverse team, create, and foster an environment of belonging in the EMEA offices. Overall, Figma needed a Director of Account Management EMEA who was a strategic thinker and a collaborative leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and an agile, dynamic approach.
