Erevena had previously placed Tamara Rajah on the Board of Holland & Barrett. Following Tamara’s move from the Board to the Executive team as Chief International & Business Officer at the beginning of 2021, Holland & Barrett needed to fill her spot with another modern, digital-first NED. They were particularly interested in candidates with an international outlook.
Requirements
An internationally minded ecommerce specialist with growth experience who could support the Board and Executive on their international growth agenda and had a deep and implicit understanding of technology and ecommerce, ideally from an engineering first environment.
Result
We placed Delphine Mousseau into the role. Delphine spent her executive career rolling out Tommy Hilfiger’s European E-Commerce business, doubling turnover in 2 years, and launching them in 22 markets. She then joined Zalando in 2014, where she was responsible for all international markets, running a €5bn business with a team of 200 across 17 countries. Since 2018, she has been Berlin based and has been building out her Non-Executive portfolio. Other board roles include as NED for Fnac Darty and Aramis Group, and she also sits on the Board of Advisors for Decathlon and Flaconi.
